The wind and rain howled last night (60-70 mph+) - doubtful my tent would have survived (luckily I was still in the lodge). Second Zero in Mount Laguna today (along with the majority of other thru-hikers) due to the freezing rain, strong winds and snow. Restless and ready to hit the trail for most of the day; and like yesterday, keeping an eye on the weather. Extremely windy and freezing rain again in the evening. Headed over to Paint and Alli's cabin to share a warm fire, a few beers and stories with others thru-hikers (a couple from Grand Rapids, Big CZ and Bulldog2 from New Orleans).
I love snow
